MOFIE

MOFIE Interest.gifThe Minnesota Organic Farmers’ Information Exchange (MOFIE) connects producers with experienced organic famers to exchange information needed to farm organically and successfully. The program consists of a dynamic group of certified organic producers from all over the state of Minnesota. Their expertise covers many areas of organic production, including crop, beef, dairy, poultry, vegetable, fruit, maple syrup and flower production.

Each mentor has generously agreed to answer questions through phone calls or emails. They are available to take calls from anyone interested in what they are doing on their farms. However, please try to call during the requested times listed. And remember to thank them for their time and willingness to volunteer for such an important job!

For more information on MOFIE, contact Carmen Fernholz at the Southwest Research and Outreach Center at 320-212-3008 or fernholz@umn.edu.
